    I know but I'm just saying it's not any safer to have a random number on your card. Because your the only person who should known your account number and sort code.

    Have you not read any of the posts, my 16 digit card number is a four digit number then sort code then account number, its like that on all HSBC cards.

    My card has changed so it doesnt have my account number on anywhere, its a right pain in the arse when paying in a cheque when theres a queue cos I cant remember it to put it in the quick pay in :lol: Something to try and stop fraud or something?

    Although my pikey housemate stole someones wallet out of their pocket the other day and went and used his card to buy some cigs and THEN to buy some curry for everyone, thieving twat :evil:
