dont you hate it when... youve had a few drinks and you get a call from someone you havnt spoke to in absolute ages and you cant remember who he/she is, i just spent the last 5 mins chatting to sum lass called emma asking questions until i finally realised who it was
forget the few drinks!!!! ive done that loads of times just normally lol i even do it when im speaking to em, recognise their face and then they let on to ya and start talkin to ya and u cant remember where they r from!! once had to sit and have a drink wiv some1 int hat situation, was ordering a drink and she came up to me and started chattin to me, cudnt remember where she was from and she came and joined us for drinks, i felt proper tight cos i cudnt introduce any1 to any1 cos i didnt know her name!!!
A few weeks ago, one of my friends from work got on the bus and an old woman sat next to her and started asking her questions, how's your ma, sister, still working at the same place? etc. She didn't know who the woman was but assumed it was one of her mam's friends or something, the whole time though she figured she'd get off the bus before it was obvious she didn't know who this woman was. Only, the woman got off at the same stop as her and turned out to be heading in the same direction. They walked for about 10 minutes, still having a conversation, and the old woman said "Did Tom and Joe's lot ever move to Australia in the end?" and my friend stopped dead in her tracks, said "Err sorry you've got the wrong person" and legged it.
