    Attic's Sloping Bar Farce!

Haha went for the first time last night, and in the short space of time I was on the ground floor, I saw 2 people smash their drinks thanks to the slant on the bar.

    Which idiot designed that???

Rest of the place isnt too great either.

Surely it wasn't meant to be like that. Maybe they should of invested in a spirit-level!:)

I heard it was designed that way to stop people from standing and drinking at the bar.

I havent been yet. I still say the best bar in Newcastle in Stereo by miles - its layout, design, music, atmosphere and sound system are all good.

Its really nice. Posh. High roofed ancient designed kinda place, tiled floors. Really clean and fresh, cant remember what the loos were like, clean tho. Theres a piano in the foyer!!!! Really smart place. Comfy chairs and a long bar. Drinks arent that expensive. I like it. :D

good thing about 55 is the price - we serve 35mls so u get triples for prices you'd normally pay for doubles :king:

id say poppolo is far and away the nicest bar in the toon...

sorry mate but the lay out in stereo is GASH! why the fuck would u want a bar in the middle of the club. the dance floor is tiny and its a nightmare walking round the place! it is a nice place but the set out is wrong!! IMO;)

Its a bar not a club. Its won awards for its design and its easy to see why IMO.

cant that be said of all bars when their busy tho?

the layouts the same as when it used to be the fog and firkin so they might not have had much of a choice in how its set up.. i think its fine though..

poppolo is really good for choice of drinks, music and atmosphere - blue coyote next door is similarly good IMO.

    :)
