    Could someone tell me what the decks/mixer set up is at egypt cottage???:spangled:

    the mixer is a mixer/cd player and is ok but nowt special!!better than it used to be!!

    but they do have officially the WORST monitors in the world!!me hope they will be replaced for the comp!!!

    i will second that dave, it needs to be a bit louder in there, better speakers and amp!!! should hopefully upgrade or update it for the dj competition in there or its gonna be a shambles!!

    nowt special!!!has quite a few channels but i imagine promise would provide a better one!!

    but the monitors are shite!!they distorted as anything so you cant hear shite!!and if you have them up too loud they skip the records cos they on the same shelf as the decks!!!ahhh!!!

    oh yeah!!forgot about that!!there is a massive boiler now clever hidden by a curtain!!!and also the windows dont open so it does get a bit hot!!:p but adds character i suppose:D

    Some of the equipment at the Egypt Cottage belongs to Sunday Trading, rather than the pub itself, so I'm not sure what will be there for the DJ competition.

    If necessary I'll bring my entire setup - mixer, decks and PC. It all depends on what the setup will be foe the event.
