Right, i`ve heard loads of people talking about his bomb thingy in the metrocentre, yesterday some asian guy told me aunty not to goto the metrocentre on Monday 23rd, he wouldnt say why though, loads of people have gona on about it, me mate was in the metrocentre last week when an announcement came over saying that a bomb had been found but its in hand and not to let this affect your xmas shopping.

Anyone heard anything about this??????

If there was a bomb found do you really think they would announce it over the PA.
This would only cause panic and hysteria which would lead to total chaos.

The conspiracist in me wud say that thats just to avoid mass panic at Xmas but I reckon there's nothing to it as well. I certainly haven't heard anything about this until I read this thread now.

Good point. Especially if it was all under control anyway. Even if this was the case, they wud still probably have evacuated the place just in case it wasn't all under control.

that happened to my mum's friend at work too!! my mum never beleives shit like this but this woman at work is apparently really level headed and normal

i got told about this as well. my sister also told me that they have been two coded messages sent to a BT call centre lately about the metrocentre being bombed on xmas eve. i've done all my xmas shopping already so i wouldn't be heading for the mc anyways. probably is all just a load of shit but u never know.

there was a bomb scare not so long ago, about a wek or two. i work in the metro and i got bollocked because we had a bomb scare, evacuated the building (at night) and i hadnt signed out of the safety book, so they thought i was still in there with the night shift staff, when i was in fact, in bed

but there was nothing to it, no bomb, just a scare.

I heard about this about 2 weeks ago. Got a txt from someone about it. Probably be nothing to be honest.

They reckon an attack if any, will be done on a public transport system of some kind.

Xmas is all about selling us re-packaged shit for people we pretend to care about, but does anyone honestly think if they had specific info that a bomb was going off in the metrocentre at a specific time that they'd let people keep shopping?
