Rough Pubs So were is the roughest pub in newcastle. I drink in throckley the centurion pretty bad at times some bloke got smashed all over last nite for no reason at all and its not the first time its happened. When lockin time comes there snortin coke off tables rolling joints in full view of non drug taking customers. not the best pub i been in but its closest to my house.
cant remember the name of the pub off hand but its near park lane in sunderland? opposite the train lines? went in there 2 new years ago for the first time, got there no windows in the front door, a fight outside and got inside nd ya had to keep watching for flying objects haha never again hehe
I remember going to find a pub when I was at Newcastle College called the Golden Cup (?), we couldn't find it so we started making our way to some pub on the corner. As we crossed the road we noticed we were getting stared out by the most pikey beer boys I'd seen in years at different parts in the pub. We decided to divert and as we walked off we could see them watching us and pointing through the window. I think we did the age old trick of waiting untill we were just about to turn a corner, turn round and stick our fingers up/motion that they were wankers and run off back to college where it was safe. Looks like we got the last laugh there.
Seen it kick right off in there, some very dodgy oldschool thugs drink in there on a match day. The blackett arms in rough when its not being used for club nights as is the clock and the black garter by the green market. I would imagine the pig and whistle is horrible as well.
Re: Rough Pubs i know loads that drink in here the old "bangla" in lemington had to be the roughest b4 it was closed.along with the old sporting arms in scotchy and the howlett.
Theres a few in seaham like. The ones where Gazza used to drink when he lived here are pretty bad. People nail there own feet to the floor and stuff.
Yesterday my dad asked me if I ever see people with knives when I'm out. After laughing in his face he explained that the reason for asking (he is a very paranoid person) is that knife crime is on the increase and "a day doesn't go by without another stabbing down in London". In similiar news, kidnapping is on the up in Portugal.
Only if your from consett. If fact growing up there compared to newcastle all of the pubs seem rough as fuck now in consett It just used to be full of 16-21 year olds on speed or roids smashing each other up. The trades is the only club i have been to with a alarm that go's off over the music to tell the bouncer that a fights in progress.
My ex from years ago (2002) took me for a 'pint' with her stepdad. It was some workmans club in Birtley, and I swear down, the only drinks they sold behind the bar were cans of Carling, Stones Bitter, Strongbow, and Barcardi Breezer
Where is that like?? Lived in Walbottle 14 years and never heard of it You lads want to try the Jingling Gate lucky to leave alive in there
